Help Bring the World to Your Community
What if you could make a meaningful difference in the life of an international student—while building connections, meeting amazing families, and experiencing the excitement of cultural exchange right in your own community?
Pan Atlantic Foundation is looking for Area Representatives to help make international student exchange possible.
This is a flexible, part-time opportunity for someone who loves people, enjoys their community, and wants to be part of something bigger.
What You'll Do
As a Area Representative, you'll serve as a local connection between Pan Atlantic Foundation, international exchange students, host families, schools, and the community.
Your responsibilities may include:
· Recruiting and supporting American host families.
· Helping identify local schools that can welcome international exchange students.
· Interviewing and helping qualify prospective host families.
· Supporting the placement process.
· Welcoming new exchange students and helping them adjust to their community.
· Maintaining regular communication with students and host families.
· Conducting required monthly student check-ins.
· Helping students become involved in school and community activities.
· Organizing or participating in occasional local activities for exchange students.
· Attending training and completing required program documentation.
· Serving as a positive, dependable resource for students and families throughout the exchange year.
What Makes Someone Great for This Role?
You don't need to be an international exchange expert.
We're looking for someone who is:
· Dependable and organized.
· Comfortable communicating with families, schools, and teenagers.
· Friendly and community-minded.
· A good listener and problem solver.
· Comfortable working independently.
· Willing to make phone calls, send emails, and build relationships.
· Interested in international cultures and helping young people succeed.
· Able to pass required background screening and complete program training.
Experience in education, counseling, coaching, youth programs, community organizations, recruiting, or family services is helpful—but not required .
Why People Love This Opportunity
This isn't a typical part-time job.
You'll have the opportunity to:
~ Connect your community with the world.
~ Make a lasting difference in a student's life.
~ Build relationships with local schools and families.
~ Meet people from different cultures.
~ Work around your existing schedule.
~ Be part of an exciting international exchange community.
The Schedule
This is a flexible part-time role designed to work around your existing responsibilities.
Much of the work can be completed from home and within your local community. Scheduling varies depending on student and family needs, placement activity, and the time of year.
Compensation
$1000 per placement, & annual International Travel can be earned in your spare time.
Ready to Bring the World to Your Community?
If you're looking for meaningful part-time work where relationships matter and your efforts can change a young person's entire exchange experience, we'd love to hear from you.
